Winter Colours

Winter people have clarity, drama and elegance.

Winters are the lucky ones who can successfully wear pure white and black.

They are usually brunettes, but can also be those with natural white blonde hair. Their eyes are usually dark brown or blue. They often have either very pale, porcelain white skin or olive toned skin with a yellowish tinge. There is usually a lot of contrast between skin tone, hair colour and eye colour.

The fair skinned Winter is best in icy and deep colours. Shocking colours and black should be worn away from the face, perhaps as a print or low neck line.

In contrast, dark Winters are best in their true colours. Icy or neutral tones should be mixed with brighter colours near the face.

Winter is one of the two cool palettes, which means that a Winter person should wear colours that have blue undertones. They are best in clear colours and sharp contrasts, making them look intense and clean. If they wear less intense or highly contrasting colours, the strong contrasts between their skin on the one hand and their hair and eyes on the other can appear washed out.

Winters look best in silver jewellery.
