Once you’ve had a Colour Consultancy and you know what suits you, you’ll need to revisit your wardrobe with a keen eye. During the Wardrobe Makeover consultation I will teach you how to use the information you’ve learned about yourself in a practical way. Most people’s wardrobes are full of mistakes and we’ve all heard how most women wear 20 percent of their clothes 80 percent of the time. Wouldn’t it be fantastic to open up your cupboards and know that everything in them suits you perfectly? Finally you’ll be able to choose what to wear based on your mood and the occasion, rather than resorting to the same tired combination over and over again because it’s the only outfit that you don’t feel fat in.
During your Wardrobe Makeover we’ll sort through your clothes and arrange them into an array of shades and garments, making it easy for you to decide which items and colours you need to buy. You’ll be able to make the most of the clothes you already have that suit you by adding complementary pieces that are just right for you.
When deciding whether to keep a piece of clothing or not, we will take the following into account:
Is it in a colour that suits you?
Does the shape and style flatter your figure? If not, can it be altered so that it does?
Is it in good condition, and if not, can it be fixed or mended?
There’s no point hanging on to clothes that you’ll never wear. It’s better to cull them and allow you to more easily find the clothes that you do wear or make space for some new pieces that pull your wardrobe together. With my impartial eye, I can help you make the right decisions more easily.
Once we’ve sorted your clothing into likes and dislikes, I will help you rehang them in your wardrobe in the way that you prefer, e.g. by colour, by type or by outfit.
Being able to make good decisions when choosing new clothes will save you money in the future. We’ve all wasted plenty on pieces that we’ve never worn, because they were ‘a bargain’ but never actually suited us. Although you may end up buying some new clothes, once we’ve given you a Wardrobe Makeover you’ll be buying the right ones this time, and this makes them an investment that you’ll wear over and over again.
